Leander Flooring

Book a Measure, Not a Phone Quote

Nobody can price a floor down a phone line. A number given without a meter reading and a straightedge on the slab is a guess, and guesses get corrected mid-job in one direction only. So the first step is an hour on site: we measure, find out what the substrate is actually doing, and leave you with a broken-out number you can hold any other bid against line for line.

Worth having to hand

None of this is required and rough answers are genuinely useful. It only decides what we load into the van — a grinder and a straightedge, or a moisture meter and a set of probes.

  • Rough square footage. A guess from pacing the room is fine.
  • What is down now, and whether it is the original floor or a replacement.
  • The build year, or the decade — it tells us which slab era we are dealing with.
  • Which side of US-183 you are on, because that decides how much substrate prep to expect.
  • Any history of a slab crack, a sticking door, or a floor that has developed a slope.

Request an estimate

Describe the space and whatever is down there at the moment. Somebody comes out, measures, and give you an itemised number rather than a range.
