Scope
These pages set out the flooring work Leander Flooring carries out across Leander and the neighbouring communities in Williamson, Travis, Burnet and Hays counties. The purpose of the site is to explain that work and to let you ask for an estimate.
Read every number here as research, not as a price
This paragraph matters more than the rest of the page put together. The dollar figures throughout this site were gathered by surveying what flooring contractors across Central Texas publish. They describe a market. They are not what we would charge you, they are not an offer capable of acceptance, and none of them becomes a term of any agreement between us.
Whether a given project sits at the low or high end of any published band turns on things that cannot be established remotely: what the substrate reads on a meter, how far out of level it runs, how much existing flooring has to be lifted and carried away, how the property is accessed, and what becomes visible once the old floor is gone. Only a written estimate produced after somebody has inspected the property commits us to a figure.
The guides are general
Articles on this site summarise recognised industry standards, testing methods and installation practice in broad terms, so that a homeowner can interrogate any bid — ours included — more effectively. They cannot substitute for someone examining your particular property, and none of the content here constitutes structural or geotechnical advice about a foundation, a slab or its reinforcement.
Two separate warranties
Cover on the labour and cover on the products are distinct arrangements addressing distinct kinds of failure, and they are held by different parties. Whatever applies to a particular job will be whatever appears in that job’s written estimate and in the paperwork issued by the product manufacturer — never a summary sentence written on a web page.
Material on this site
The writing, page design and illustrations here belong to us and should not be republished elsewhere. Where the content contrasts types of supplier — a big-box retailer’s installation programme set against an independent crew, for example — the comparison is between business models generally and carries no assertion about any particular company.
Revisions
The bands, the service descriptions and this page itself are all liable to change whenever the market moves or what we offer changes, and we will not announce it when they do.
